1104 – Owen

There is a main switch on the wall. Please leave this ON at all times (unless the unit is vacated for many weeks in a row). The clock on the owen will reset in case of a power outage (rare) or if the switch on the wall is turned off. The owen will not operate again unless the clock is set. To do this: press the minus or plus symbols to set the time (please note the clock has a 24-hour display). After 5 seconds from the last change, the “Timer arrow” symbol will disappear confirming the time has been set

The short story

Switch the appliance “On” by pressing “On / Off”. The oven light will turn on. Then Press button repeatedly until the desired oven function appears. The suggested cooking temperature for that function will appear in the display which can be changed. To change the desirered temperature press the minus or plus symbols. After 5 seconds from the last change, the oven will begin to heat, but the temperature can be adjusted at any time after heating begins. The owens various functions well described in the manual:

  1. Rapid Heat/Fast Heat Up (FHU): “Fast Heat Up” can be selected in the initial heat up phase of any cooking function described below. To enable this press the “Fast heat up” and the letters “FHU” will appear and alternate with “Owen temperature” on the display. During “Fast Heat Up”, the heat comes from the element surrounding the fan as well as the smaller element above the food. This allows you to preheat your oven 30% quicker than on standard “Bake”. Set the desired pre-heat temperature, by rotating your oven temperature selector. When the indicator light goes out the oven has reached the desired preset temperature, place your food into the oven.
